Shoot "Nuit d'Ivresse" for L'Edito Magazine, 2009

For this project I was brought on board to help direct and train a model. The photographer was looking for her to move/dance and emote in an inspired manner. The concept of the shoot was as follows: A woman at the end of the night. She's lost and losing her balance. There is something lascivious in her. Darkness surrounds her. Shadows dance around her and she looks light, full of a mysterious energy with rock 'n' roll accents.

The key themes for the shoot were; night bird, intoxication, fever, air of debauchery, rock chic, loss of balance, energy, class, sequins, dance, trance, sexy, flamboyance. The challenge was to use contemporary motions to create curves that complimented and contrasted the angles and lines of the clothing and lighting. My goal was to create a look of natural grace with a fun, sexy edge brought on by a night of drinking and dancing.
