Hope you're all enjoying the interviews! We've heard Teddy talk travel, and health. Yesterday he discussed his various exciting projects, and we had the pleasure of seeing him perform. Today we get some inspirational words from a young artist who is as eager as I am to discover, experience, and share his passion for movement.
Meet Teddy Forance (Part 2)
We're back today with another clip from my sit down with Teddy Forance.
I practice Yamuna body rolling as a way to sustain my body through the rigors that come with being a full time performer.
It's something I really believe in, and try to happily spread. Teddy was happy to give it a try himself. After some Yamuna body rolling exercises, I asked Teddy what his views were on body sustainability, the importance of keeping your body in shape, and any secrets he might learned that relate to staying healthy.
Here's what he had to say on those subjects.
Meet Desmond Richardson (Part 1)
If you're going to interview special people then you have to start right at the top right? I met this person almost ten years ago. Coincidence or not, it happened in Italy. Dance icon Desmond Richardson was teaching at a workshop in Tropea that I used to attend and lend a hand as a translator for the teachers who, for the most part, were American. Desmond has been a great inspiration for me ever since, but, without a doubt, for a whole generation of dancers and artists around the globe.
